Joe Pye Plant

This plant always brings back memories of my mother.   She always had the most flowers and prettiest yard in town.   On Decoration Days at the various cemeteries, she would fill our front porch with wash tubs and buckets of flowers and I would sit on the porch swing and watch her make bouquets.   I was always fascinated by the Joe Pye and how she 1would always add some of that to the bouquets of roses and other flowers.   The Joe Pye added such exquisite contrast and made her bouquets something special.
